Carla Gugino was born on August 29, 1971 in Sarasota, Florida, USA. She first appeared on television during the late 1980s and early 1990s with guest roles in Saved by the Bell, The Wonder Years and Falcon Crest.
She went on to appear in such films as Troop Beverly Hills and Son in Law. She then starred in Brian De Palma’s Snake Eyes with Nicolas Cage.
In 2001, she landed the role of Ingrid Cortez in Spy Kids and its sequels released in 2002 and 2003. She has since experienced a prolific career, starring in several television shows and films.
